Kuker-Ranken appoints Douglas Spotted Eagle CSO/Unmanned

Kuker-Ranken (KR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Spotted Eagle as KR’s Chief Strategy Officer/Unmanned with the mission to help first responders, AEC firms, and inspection teams fully realize the potential of their unmanned/drone systems in various operations.

DSE SMG HeadshotOne of the drone industry’s top resources and a highly experienced leader in unmanned aerial systems, Douglas joins KR by way of Sundance Media Group where he has held the role of Senior Director of Education Programming for the past 27 years. During Douglas’ years at Sundance Media Group, he has consulted with and contracted through several unmanned manufacturers with focus on specific verticals, products, and results-driven partnerships. Through his leadership and drive to bring new technologies to these verticals, he has become a well known and respected thought leader in the unmanned industry, having been a key presenter, speaker, and technical chair for organizations such as CommUAV Expo, InterDrone, National Association of Broadcasters, Government Security Exchange, WorldCon, and other events. Douglas’ background in airborne imagery began in 2004 as he set on his path to achieve a pilot’s license and a skydiving instructor/examiner rating.

In this new role at KR, Douglas will lead the strategy for products and programs in the AEC, public safety, and inspection vertical markets.
